Re NEET 2026 OMR Challenge Fee

If NTA finds that the scanning agency incorrectly recorded the response, the processing fee for that particular challenge will be refunded.
NTA New Rules for Valid OMR Marking
Before raising a Re NEET 2026 OMR challenge, candidates must check whether their markings follow NTA’s OMR scanning rules. The OMR scanner reads only the physical marks made on the answer sheet, so unclear or incorrect marking may affect the recorded response.
A response is considered valid only when the circle is completely darkened using a blue or black ballpoint pen. If more than one circle is darkened for the same question, the answer will be treated as invalid and may attract negative marking as per exam rules.
Candidates should also remember that once an answer is marked on the OMR sheet, it cannot be changed. Any overwriting, tampering, half-filled bubbles, smudges, stray dots, or extra marks may not be read correctly by the scanner.
Strict Warning Against Tampered OMR Images
Candidates must not upload, edit, or use any tampered scanned OMR sheet while raising a challenge. NTA may treat such cases as Unfair Means (UFM). This can lead to serious action, including cancellation of candidature, debarment from future examinations, and legal proceedings.

What Happens After the OMR Challenge?
After the Re NEET 2026 OMR challenge window closes, NTA will review all valid objections submitted by candidates. If NTA finds that any response was wrongly captured by the scanning agency, the required correction will be made.
The Re NEET 2026 final result will be prepared only after considering all verified OMR response corrections. Since the Re NEET 2026 answer key challenge process has already ended, candidates can now raise objections only for recorded OMR responses, not for the answer key.
