The JEE Advanced 2026 application form is available only through the official website jeeadv.ac.in. The official website announcement states that registration is now open and directs candidates to the registration portal from the homepage itself.

Who Can Apply for JEE Advanced 2026

• To appear for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates, including all categories in the B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2026. 

• The brochure also states the category-wise shortlisting structure used for this pool, with horizontal reservation for PwD candidates within categories.

• The age rule is equally important. Candidates should have been born on or after October 1 2001. 

• A 5-year age relaxation is available for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, meaning such candidates should have been born on or after October 1 1996.

• The attempt rule states that a candidate may attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times within two consecutive years.

• For Class 12 eligibility, the candidate should have appeared for the Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in either 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 

• Candidates who first appeared in 2024 or earlier are generally not eligible, except for the special board-result timing condition mentioned in the brochure for boards whose 2023–24 results were declared on or after June 18 2024.

Documents Required for JEE Advanced Registration 2026

• At the time of online registration, all candidates need to upload scanned copies of key documents. 

• These include the Class 10 certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it or a birth certificate, the Class 12 or equivalent certificate, and a gazette notification if the candidate’s name is different from the Class 10 certificate. 

• If the marksheet for Class 12 examination 2026 is already available, it must also be uploaded.

• Candidates applying under GEN-EWS must upload a GEN-EWS certificate issued on or after April 1 2026. 

• If they are unable to upload the certificate during registration, they must upload the prescribed declaration in lieu of the certificate.

• Candidates applying under OBC-NCL must upload an OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after April 1 2026.

Step 1: Visit the official website

Open the official JEE Advanced website and go to the registration portal. Registration is to be done only through the official online portal.
